Underground lake of Saint-Leonard
Discover one of the most fascinating places underground, discovered in 1943 and exploited since 1949, 10 minutes from Sion.
The “Lac Souterrain de St-Léonard” is located in Switzerland, between Sion and Sierre, in the heart of the Valais Alps. A privileged witness to the formation of the Alps, this navigable underground lake nestles in the hillside at a depth of between 30 and 70 metres beneath the vineyards. With a length of 300 metres, it is the largest natural and navigable underground lake in Europe.
As the cave is completely submerged, all visits are made in rowing boats for up to 40 people.
In complete silence, multilingual guides take you on a tour of this fascinating world. During a 30-minute guided tour you will glide along the clear waters of the lake and learn to decipher its mysteries.

Dams
They are among the most colossal, heaviest and most impressive structures in the Alps: the dams of the Valais Alps. The most imposing of them can be visited, let yourself be guided and surprised. Built by human hands, each dam shows in a spectacular way how important the production of hydraulic energy is for the economy of an Alpine canton. The Valais dams will also play an important role in the future as Switzerland’s most important source of renewable energy. An unforgettable experience.

Crans Montana Golf Club
Imagine a plateau dominating the Rhone valley from its 1500 m. In front of you, the highest peaks, from the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc. It was in this majestic setting that the golf pioneers laid out the first course in 1906. Since then, the greens have continued to flourish in the sunshine and the greatest players have been won over by the natural beauty of the site. Here, golf is on firm ground, with 4 courses, including the famous 18-hole course named after its prestigious creator, Severiano Ballesteros, which is ranked by specialist magazines as one of the most beautiful in the world and hosts the European Masters, an unmissable event. The second course, the Jack Nicklaus, has been named the most beautiful 9-hole course in Switzerland four times.
